RE: Information Table

I think it would be something we can do under the moring devotional time as far as reminding them of schedules, (where and when's).

The first aid kit and other stuff should be kept in a central location for open access to participants but not to all hotel guests.  It should be announced at the beginning of the conference and that should be all that is necessary.  We are not going to need to create more work than necessary for ourselves.

I'm not sure how I feel about an information table we man because the hotel has a conceirge as well as a Disney information booth in the main lobby.

I think the idea of the daily schedule is great - could we do that in the form of an easel setup outside the classrooms though? And also, one in the Hospitality Suite?

I like the idea of an emergency kit (covering all emergencies smile) and thought that could be in the Hospitality Suite - we just need to be sure we publicize that. We had some emergency supplies at this conference, but I don't think we publicized it.

What do you all think about having an manned information table during the week?

It can have the daily schedule
Extra Brochures of things to do for the families
Suggested activities for the day
Events happening at the hotel
Have a first aid kit available
Have tampons available

Table to be manned 15 minutes before classes start in the morning, during breaks and 15 minutes after the last class.
