Here is some information I received from our Disney representative regarding the closing:
As for the closing of Pleasure Island, there will still be other locations that are open for adult interaction. The locations that are closing are the 6 nightclubs, but not any of the other restaurants or shops in Downtown Disney. All of Downtown Disney's Westside (besides the Pleasure Island clubs) will still be operating. For example, Raglan Road is an Irish pub in the Westside which is a great location for people to gather after their meetings. Also, House of Blues and Bongo's Cuban Cafe are great places for the attendees to go to unwind. Additionally, if they wanted to take a bus from Downtown Disney to Disney's Boardwalk Resort there are quite a few things to do over in that area. Jellyrolls is a really fun piano bar over on the Boardwalk and there is also an ESPN Zone for any sports fans in the group.
